FOUR RED TAXISHong Kong 2017

I travelled to Hong Kong marked by the events that had changed my life that year. Between the comings and goings of people and the traffic I observed from the footbridge on Des Voeux Road Central, I tried to sort out the reasons that had brought me there. Perhaps I was not only looking for the beauty that the films of Hong Kong filmmaker Won Kar Wai, the source of my inspiration, had conveyed to me. Perhaps I was looking for the photographer that I am, the man I had unconsciously become. In between taxis, my thoughts were in turmoil. An important loss, the relationship with my family, that teacher from my adolescence, the first trips, the people I have met, the friends with whom I still share experiences and many other unforgettable moments found their place inside me. On that trip, the most momentous of my life, I discovered Hong Kong. I discovered who I am.
